Request care from Tamara’s Home & Hound

Your request is for Tamara’s Home & Hound. It comes to Dapple, and Dapple will not send it to any other sitter. When the service, area and animal checks pass, it is made available in this provider’s Dapple inbox. Otherwise Dapple reviews it first. Nothing is booked and there is nothing to pay for asking.

Tamara, the sitter at Tamara’s Home & Hound

In Tamara’s own words

I look after cats and dogs in their own homes around York. I’ve always loved animals, and pet sitting lets me spend my week with a lot of them and still come home to my own two.

I’ve been pet sitting professionally for over two years now, and I’d been looking after animals for more than a decade before I ever charged anyone for it.

I live with Skye, a golden retriever, and Charlie, a long-haired cat. Mud, wet towels and litter trays are all part of my morning before work starts. The waggy-tail greeting at somebody else’s front door is the best part of my week.

It’s just me. The person who comes round to meet you is the person who comes back to look after your pets.

Nothing is booked until we have met. The introductory visit happens in the house I’d be staying in, it is free, and you decide afterwards.
